  I think I've reached that point in life where I hate my job and will always hate my job

  remember when you were a kid and you saw the funny bits in shows about how someone hates their job and just goes to work to pay the bills.

  i think i've reached that point in my life.. i hate my job.. i used to love the work i do... but the way a corporation crushes your soul and leaves you as an empty husk of your former self has finally taken its toll on me.. i used to look forward to the challenges of work... now i wake up, go to work, do what i have to do to get through the day and then go home.. .

  it's totally absurd but i find myself literally fantasizing about winning the lottery so i can get my soul back..

  Just be happy you have a job. The unemployment rate in the US is over 10%. Being unemployed is much more unpleasant.

  i'm not but i know some jws that have drifted but when things like 9/11 catastrophes occur, they're right back at the kingdom hall.. do you ever worry that the great tribulation might occur and you will die?.

  armageddon, fred franz and the year 2000 - questions

  i have read that fred franz said armageddon would come by/in 2000.... been through search and the cd library but other than quotes of how bad the world will be by then, i cant seem to find anything.. any help?.

  Where is the best place in the world to live?

  TD, What I gather from your post is that, to God, the sacredness of life is more important than the sacredness of blood so when it comes down to an issue between the two, we should choose life. We know this because of all the other laws God has made regarding life and how important it is to him. It is taking the blood issue in the context of the whole bible. Like was mentioned before, the life itself is more important than the symbol of it.

  However, some of your post is too hard to understand:

  Consequently, apart from serving as a good example of how the inductive fallacy of hasty generalization can be coupled with the deductive fallacy of argumentum ad ignorantiam, their hypothesis would be worthless.

  Would you please explain the first part of your post, about the reasoning methods JW's use, in simpler language?
